Being a physician is a truly humbling experience. For physicians, humility distinguishes between knowing what illness the patient has and what it means, and understanding how it feels to have it. Every day we see patients who are brave and vulnerable enough to open up to us.  It is a truly gratifying experience to be able to listen to someone's story and help and support them through difficult situations in their lives.  Working with my patients, my talented, compassionate colleagues and outstanding support staff at PMA has been a fantastic experience.
